maya batch render auto renders .iff

hey been having an issue at work that i havnt been able to figure out. maya's batch render is exporting only .iff and i need layered .psd ive deleted prefrences, and saved ones that i know work, ive moved files to different computers and i keep getting the same thing, only .iff in batch render. if anyone has encountered a similar problem please let me know how you worked around it. one of my co workers suggested just keying out the background, of the iffs, but this seems like a band aid on a broken arm to me, it would kill motionblur dof and light fog...any ideas?

ok issue resolved by using different machine to render...i guess something is just wrong with my copy of maya...

Sounds like a preferences setup issue or potentially in loaded plugins. Doesn't sound like there's anything wrong with your copy of Maya if it's still rendering to any format. Just it's setup.
