I don't have a lot of spare time at the moment, but I thought I'd throw my proverbial hat into the ring. Given that there's a fair chance that I won't have time to finish, I'll go it alone so that I don't have any team mates to let down.

Inspired by recent events in my life, this will be the basis for my entry:

My idea at this point is to have a fairly idyllic game setting, probably something colourful and console platformer in flavour. This is then being torn apart by the apocalyptic RROD which will probably be probably appear looming over the scene from the sky. The destruction wil have a distinctly digital look to it with individual polygons and poly strips being torn up towards the ring and... stuff. I think it should be interesting and within my means.

I'll try to get a basic concept knocked out tonight.
