*walks in* I dunno! *throws arms in the air and walks out.
EDIT: Mostly playing with DOF and postprocessing right now.
Note: Angles are still up in the air. I'll put more effort into it later when I do final shots.
Too un-saturated for crazy's paintover I think (it loses its essence - what makes the scene).
However, currently I think the scene is just way too over saturated, you need to strike some sort of balance that makes it so your key focus has that punch too it, but not so much that it drowns out the entire scene.
Here's a paintover of how you might want to change it up, take whatever you want from it, or nothing at all!
I agree with Jason on the desaturation there, but I really like the way stuff is layed out on the paintover though.
Piggy, try to avoid vegetation on the foreground, it's very low rez and it shows, it doesn't look very good. Go for something like crazyfingers showed, his paintover looks much more balanced in terms of how stuff is placed on the scene.
This looks good but it can look awesome man, keep it up!
Crap. Forgot about that. Good catch and thanks man! Not the most polycount-optimized scene in the world but eh! I've worked with low reses for such a long time so this was a really nice change.
looks really cooll
but i get the feeling that the models are not being shown at it's full potential in the scene.
the door that you have showing in the image above all alone, looks awesome. and then somehow, some of that sauce is getting lots in all that glow and dof:(
I find it a bit odd that they haven't written a "Thanks for submitting guys! here's the plan"-post but eh. Guess we just gotta wait until we get a mail or some guy saying, hey! The judging is done
EDIT: Oh and bump. I was a bit sad to find this a few pages back: hehe.
Though the thing on the ground in the middle betwen fire torches i kinda unclear what it is.
Looks like u wanted to focus viewer on that as well, but it is hard to tell what is that.

Keep pushing it!! I love how it is progressing!

me likey.
I'm not doing any more things now to this. Sorry guys. I just can't. I feel emotionally unstable when i open the scene hehe.
Thank you for all your support and opinions in this crazy comp and good luck to the rest of you!
Might have to try and fix a better construction sheet. Freakin wireframe!
*Salute* See you around
Btw, polycount on the construction sheet?
EDIT: Updated construction sheet.

i see where bitmap is coming from, and i concur with his conclusions.
