Seattle architecture photoshoot . Day 1

Heres a small little pack of photos of mainly buildings in seattle, wa for if you want to check them out.... maybe get some ideas.

Im not the greatest photorapher some a couple might be blurry and they are not very good for textures. Theres a couple neat buildings new and old though...

Why not use ImageShack or something similar to place the images directly into this thread? I don't think many people are going to wait that long for Rapidshare, and it sounds like there could be some interesting reference images, especially for those of us who've never been to Seattle.....

Just a thought.

Some interesting photos in there; there are some beautiful examples of Neoclassical and Art Deco architecture downtown worth photographing, such as Smith Tower (1914), Seattle Tower (1929), Exchange Building (1930), Seattle Asian Art Museum (1933), to name a couple.

planning on going back a couple more times this week hopefully

There are some really great old brick buildings down by the aquarium and the stadiums. If the viaduct ever falls down it will take them with it. The buildings themselves aren't all that impressive but because they're brick, old and so well weathered there are hundreds of unique tiles and stains to capture. Even the boring old Seattle plumbing building right next to quest field is awesome for textures.

Make sure to go on a slightly overcast day that way you're not fighting the lighting.
