Increasing ridiculously low volume in tutorial
Every now and then I come across a tutorial which is recorded at a very low volume, which is usually resolved by turning my speakers upto their max setting but i'm getting freaked out by uber loud sounds whilst my speakers are set this high (msn message alert etc).
Is there a quick n easy way to just 'boost' the sound of the specific file (usually mpeg-2/xvid file) to a normal level with ideally free software? I'd also like to know how to do this in general with other files/movies/mp3's etc.
