I love my Razer Death Adder, it's made specially for right-handed people, the shape of it acts the same as good arch support for your feet. I used to have terrible wrist pain, since I got this, nothing at all. It has two thumb buttons and the scroll wheel is nice and grippy and the click is really responsive. The material it's made out of is also really comfortable. Plus the blue light-up snakes are sexy.
I bought the MX Revolution, and so far I love it! Still trying to figure out what to assign all these buttons to. I'm sorry to keep this thread kicking if it feels old, but any recommendations for button setup for a Max user?

Select loop, weld verts, delete edge, bring up a menu or two...
Im going to need to invest in a new mouse soon aswell... countless hours of Quake has destroyed mine =
I have my back button (well thats the button in firefox) used as my middle mouse button in 3ds max. It feels nicer to me and seemed less stressful on the wrists.
I've used the MX revolution at work with uber options installed for a couple of years, highly recommended. Bound mmb to front side button.Been using the razer Habu at home, recently the side back button stopped working, so I switched out the side panel to the one I wasn't using, this fixed it for about a week, and now the back button has stopped working again. Won't be buying another.

I'm using this too and can highly recommend it. I was using a MX Revolution, but found that my wrist hurts after a few hours of intensive moddeling, so I started looking for a new one and bought the Death Adder first for my laptop, but then later switched to my desktop and is now my main computer mouse!
this is the one I use, and the one I'lL ever need.
I hate cordless/over complicated stuff, and these simple mouses are comfortable, light and fast.
I think what you probably should look for in a mouse above all is light - easy to click buttons.
I liked this mouse so much I bought two back-ups too. Never failed me yet.
I remember it was hard work at the time I found this trying to buy a mouse that didn't have stupid 'web button' things on the side, a stupid shape or as USB only connection (why leave the mouse PS/2 empty, which can only be used for a mouse, and waste a USB slot which could be used for anything? ).

Free shipping from Newegg makes it cheaper than Amazon, yay! Thanks for the heads up.
