20 months after being diagnosed. i'm sure he tried to make them his best.

may his family be comforted and find peace that his pain and suffering is over.

any form of cancer takes a tremendous toll on everyone involved. my grandfather passed away from cancer and my son's god mother was just diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing chemo.

i hope that the media allows them the space they deserve as this long hard road has come to a end.

The same type of cancer took my grandpa 2 years ago. It's amazing how fast it takes someone down... They either caught it really early, did some crazy treatment or he was a really tough guy to live that long.

I saw that tabloid with the "Patrick Swayze Goes Home To Die!" headline too, the picture they had with it made his eyes look like there were really popping out of his head. Sad to literally see him wither away over the past few months.

It's really inspirational that he had such a positive attitude towards his illness, and never let it get him down. I read somewhere that he refused to take painkillers when he was shooting The Beast, as he didn't want it to affect his performance. Hardcore.
