For the last few years i've started drawing on my clothes, usually with a basic marker pen and I was just wondering if anyone else does this?
I like making my clothes unique anyway but I also use this as an exercise to increase my drawing skills too. The stuff I draw is quite random, anything from cartoon characters like morbo from futurama to dragons and guitarists etc. I also draw on my shoes (sound like I should be on a ward!)
Does anyone else do this? Also, what pens/markers do you use? Seeing as these clothes get washed i'd like to preserve the artwork, marker pens are quite permanent however they're very thick and its hard to do detailed drawings with them, are there pens specifically made for this? I would google for it but I don't know what terms to search for.

fabric paint and sometimes acrylic paint on denim
acrylic paint works incredibly well on leather
never used pens
K, major noob here but I read the FAQ and it says to upload an image I need to go to the 'manage attachments' box underneath the message reply box. Can't see it and the upload image button refers to a url address. Can I upload an image from my computer or do I need to get me an image hosting account?
It hasnt worked yet but im hopeful for the future.
I kinda want to start my own clothing line for kids.
My trouser drawings are majorly faded so here's my 'shoe doodles':
Basically no plan of execution just drew whatever came to mind
Thats supposed to be hunter s thompson
I like your shoe doodle *hehe doodle*
in high school. :P
</sarcasm overkill>
Honestly no, i've never even thought about that, although I do wonder what type of surface fabric would serve as for drawing. I've only really used paper.
morbo is pleased to see he has taken over your shoe with his gigantic head ^^
i used to draw on my backpack but those were random shapes going all over the place
Bedazzle the hell out of my denim jackets!!
okay not everything.
JK (kind of, but only because that sounds pretty dickish)
But seriously, I was searching for "bedazzled" images and was pleasantly rewarded with a lot of Liz Hurley shots, so all in all I'm happy this thread exists.
