Technical Producer
Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and console, is seeking a Technical Producer to join its existing talent pool located in San Francisco. The candidates main responsibility would be to serve as a technical representative for Gameloft as well as be a contact between Gameloft developers and Gameloft's west-coast partners: Apple, Google, Qualcomm, Microsoft, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Serve as a technical contact between Gameloft developers and Gameloft's west-coast partners: Apple, Google, Qualcomm, Microsoft, etc.
o Represent Gameloft when required at any technical events sponsored by our partners and give onsite technical briefings to prospective and existing clients
o Work as a technical issue liaison between internal business development team and production team
o Test out new SDK's, API's, and tools as they become available.
o Alter existing games to make use of the latest API's.
o Assist Gameloft developers with troubleshooting API usage.
o Creating demos showcasing specific APIs.
o Creating benchmarks to test APIs and 3D performance.
Requirements:
o Passion for video games
o Excellent written communication skills.
o Excellent verbal communication skills.
o Ability to speak on a professional level with various levels of management internally and externally.
o Fluent in English.
o Friendly, personable and down to earth.
o Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
o Good knowledge of C/C++.
o Good knowledge of 3D and OpenGL.
o Knowledge of iPhone, WinMobile, BREW, and/or Android would be a plus.
o Familiarity with mobile phone content and the mobile video game market a plus.
This position is located in San Francisco.
