hey folks, i need more pieces for my portfolio so I've decided to start off with a Kukri; going to hopefully finish this and a few more things in time for unearthly challenge, and then make more stuff after that.

here's my high poly so far.. lemme know what you think.

got any references images? I've never heard of a kukri before, and now I'm interested. Details look good so far, but I'd use some cylinders and box primitives to at least block out everything you plan to model. It will ensure you keep good proportions and that everything works together as you progress.

ya definitely gotta do more with the handle, the blade itself is looking nice, but the handle just sticks out like a sore thumb right now also i think the handle should be a bit shorter too

yeah a Kukri is Nepalese blade, like the Machete it is used as a weapon as well as a tool.
