I just saw this tonight with my wife; if you consider yourself to be any kind of animal lover, conservationist, or human, I really recommend watching this and getting friends and family to watch it. The film is about a cove in Japan where thousands of dolphins are slaughtered every year. The profit doesn't come from the meat, but from them selling "desirable" dolphins to places like SeaWorld and other marine parks.
This is something that we can affect by just not going to places like SeaWorld.
Some good news, though:

just curious.
But I never thought about dolphins being abused like this, I am going to see this cause I like documentaries they are interesting, I wanted to mention one Docu where the population is increasing so bad they have HUGE cattle farms/slaughter areas to supply the meats we all eat and how bad our constant growth and demand is, an that it is damaging the planets eco system ect.ect.
Thanks but I agree some animal lovers would be upset to know about this documentary it's good to hear about them being shutdown but who really knows they could just spring up somewhere else.
But with this it appears as if those doing it knew, they were doing something wrong or knew that the majority would disagree so they've covered it up and even the press and police were complicit in this deceat, thats scary.

LET THE WANTON SLAUGHTER OF THE AQUATIC MAMMALS CONTINUE
If dolphins is so smart, how come they keep going back to that cove every year ?
Humans do all sorts of crazy stuff.... and HOW, and repeat it. We are supposed to be the "smart" ones.
If I had to guess why they go back, it could be instinct, curiosity, some biological drive. Or they are cleverly lured there and trapped and confused by people.
