Hey guys here the next character off the ranks for me!
Emma Frost - 9700 tri's 1x2048x2048 diffuse / spec normals.
Im just really starting to handpainting textures and have pretty much fallen in love with it. I'm addicted, so I'll be looking for all the 'old school' sdk's and challenges that require handpaint only - because I need to get better... MUCH better, to be where I want to be!! Haaaa one day!
Anyway, i hope you guys like her as much as I enjoyed working on her !

One minor thing I notice is how the normal map came out on her ass - the shading isn't as smooth as it should be maybe. Very minor though! Lots of good characters in here recently.
cycloverid: I swear i didnt purposefully make them that way.... I also swear that I didnt make the zoom lines in the beauty shot centre on her pelvic region. But ai agree with you about the bum not coming out right - Ill make damn certain the next ass i work on is smoooooooooth.
It's impressive she's attractive, not many cg girls are.

oh also, would have been a bit more fitting to see her on some cool ice structure, the rocks seem a little out of place?
Our characters should have a T&A fight, I think yours would win on the T but mine might have the edge on the A
All things considered though, this is top work, man. Good job.

Heres my thoughts, what do you guys think ?
1) She needs an expression big time, a whole face makeover, but I ran short on the deadline DOH!
2) Her hair could have been more dynamic in that beauty shot!
3) Her bum needs to be bigger to compete in a decent T&A fight with MoP's mystique :P
4) More tri's on her chin ( i think i have 300 tri's unused ) DOH!!!
5) The skintones look pretty flat though I tried my best - im still learning handpainting, its hard but oddly enough, insanely addictive!
6) The corset looks pretty flat too..
7) The base, I definately agree its clashing hardcore at the moment and everyone is really noticing it so I think I will redo it haha!
There are normal map niggles and whatnot still present as well!!!
I feel so close, yet so far away lol!!
