Unearthly challenge 2009 ???

Hey pplz,

In the pre-launch annoucement to Unearthly Challenge 2009 it said the end of summer.
Looks like it still hasn't started yet tough.
Does anyone have some news about that?

On their website it says nothing, looks like they r still waiting for sponsors.

I was just curious if someone knows more, because i can't wait, but it looks like its frozen for now :P

I hear this year will be teams of 8, all environments must be built using MilkShape3D, and all textures done in crayons and scanned in using a hand held scanner. Then printed to 1/32nd scale using sugar based 3D printing and submitted along with one live ant colony in the box via UPS, USPS or FedEx. Whichever arrives the most intact wins a coupon for a free small un-carbonated orange drink from Mc Donalds.

you know... you -almost- had me here vig. i was believing everything you said (not) until you mentioned the orange drink from mc donalds, seeing as they discontinued it a while ago... at least here in canada. :P next time, pick something a little more believable. :P

as for the crayons... that sounds like it could be fun. maybe ill pull out my painter X and do it up! lol
