So I just finished importing my Alien Environment I modeled and texture from this summer into Unreal. I did the lighting and everything, and I just wanted to get all of your opinions. It's not really supposed to be a full on level, I may add to it later, but for now it is just a small environment/corridor which I wanted to do the lighting in Unreal for. Please let me know your thoughts. Appreciate it!
Apologies, uneditable poly, it's very strange but apparently I can't post attachments for some reason. I'm not exactly sure why, the "browse" or "manage attachments button" is not available. Is there a way to fix this? I may need to contact PC by email and try and fix this. Until then, I left the links for the two images on another game art forum site named Gamestepper. So check it out there please for right now.
Nice environment ^^. You've almost nailed that scary ambience and unreal should only make it better.
The only criticism i have is the color of the orange light vent things, it might just be me but i think they clash with the gun-metal green of the floor, wall and cables. If your centre of focus is the actual vents, the color is fine. But otherwise dim them, or change the colour to something that complements the other colors in the hall.
Progress... let me know what you guys think. I re-did most of the textures, model and lighting. I was very busy working on other projects which is why I haven't posted in awhile.
