I looked at everyone else's entries and it seems I need to figure out how to make my weapon more brutal and intimidating. As you can see in this early compsoite image this weapon doesn't seem like anything you can charge a giant 5 story tall walking robot with.
So I'm trying to figure out what direction to take it.
Ok.
Its because of threads like this one, that we will be changing the way the workshops work.
The next one, will be like the first one. Where everyone that wants to enter, will have to model the same thing, in order to avoid sillyness like this.
These workshops were made for ppl to learn from each other. Right now, little learning is being passed arround.
what offends me about the paperclip is that he didnt bother to model it all bent as a stabbing device, i mean really, who is gonna stab eyeballs out with the blunt end of a paperclip? i mean c'mon

Wtf.
Are you even taking this seriously?
Are you using a 1024 texture?
This curve is soooo cool.
I'll do the high poly after I UV
I probably did it the long way, drew a curve, extruded along curve, delete unneeded polys, its a 7 sided cylinder, I don't know why I used 7.
I might do a 2nd weapon, how does nun-chuck-light-saber-axes sound?

I mean, if zacd would have made a dildo, it would be awesome.
Cause at least he had shown effort on his part to make something.
