EMPIRES, a Half-Life 2 modification seeks 3d artists.

The mod has been around for 6 years, changed engines, and been revamped in most ways except visual.
The mod features multiplayer combat, reminiscent of the Battlefield game series: soldiers of 2 opposing armies use vehicles and firearms to take control over maps, with an RTS-style commander on each team building bases, researching and producing units.
The mod suffers from a total lack of art direction, no defined visual style, and outdated models.
This is getting fixed in tandem with a new release of the mod.
What the mod needs:
- 2 concept artists, who can help define the overall visual style of both opposing armies.
- 2 dedicated environment artists, to decorate the unpleasant maps. Working with any kind of normal-map generation techniques is a plus.
- 2 vehicle artists, to work in tandem with the concept artists, rework existing vehicles either from scratch, or utilizing the existing hi-poly meshes et c. Working with high-poly meshes is a plus.
- 1 character artist to rework the infantry models, and make them recognizable. Working with sculpting software is a plus.
All artists will be under the supervision of the Art Director, reporting in on a weekly basis, and fulfilling short-term and long-term goals.
Previous work with the Source engine is a plus, but not required. Ability to play Empires is a big plus.
