and i saw a guy wearing a polycount shirt, who was it?
hah, that was me. Brought the wife and we had a great time. We enjoyed the art and talking to other artists that were there. That bug/lightbulb sculpture was very cool. I didnt know you were there 00Zero or else I would have said hi.
Yup, lots of great artists and pieces there. I really wanted to purchase one of the artworks from Pior but I ended up going with a Brian Huang piece due to price differences :O.
Haha cool that you guys enjoyed the show!! I was handing out flyers the same day but ended up not going because of the shortcomings of the OC train system!!
Man I had no idea about the pricing, not sure about the other guys. It was basically up to the artists so I basically shot for the exact middle haha. Heard it was good fun (gallery chicks with candy plates?), hope more stuff like so will happen again!
Haha no worries Pior. The pricing on your pieces weren't that bad. There were some that were pretty pricey for how small they were. Lets hope for another show in the future so I can snag one of yours that time .
I don't remember the name of the piece that I wanted but I got a link from your portfolio site. This one is ubah!
So let's see if I got the thing, here. Gnomon did setup a gallery "show" with personal Blizzard employee's artwork? And they allowed you to set your price and actually sell them to the public? I'm not really familiar with the process so feel free to correct me if needed !
Speaking of Gnomon has anyone you guys know attended the 2 year certificate program? Vancouver Film School didn't work out due to financial issues, and I figure since I was already prepared to go out west I might as well check out what non-4 year schools are over there. From what it seems Gnomon is a better deal, while not as big of a campus, has great instructors, is a year longer than VFS, the same price, and in the heart of the entertainment industry.
