CG Supervisor - Brighton Studio

Relentless Software is growing. While we continue to work on Buzz! we also have several new projects in development and so we are looking for an experienced CG Supervisor to join our team working on our high profile, next generation, first party Sony titles.
This is a key role for us as it will require you to work directly with both Senior Art and Code Leads, it will require you to have the ability to understand and communicate technical issues from an aesthetic point of view. In addition we will expect you to supervise our Technical Artists and train our 3d Artists in new techniques and author scripted tools. Allowing us to streamline new and existing workflow and communication between our Art and Code departments and ensure that all completed art assets are engine-legal.


The ideal candidate will have production-proven videogame experience and preferably an art related background, together with thorough understanding of current gen console art techniques.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:
• Developing, documenting and supporting the art pipelines and techniques used by the art and animation teams.
• Managing Technical Artists

Ideal candidates should have:
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ideally 3yrs + production experience in game art/animation role (ideally gained while working in a TA role)
• Excellent 3DS Max knowledge base
• Scripting experience (ideally MaxScript or MEL)
• Shader authoring experience (HLSL)
• Rigging experience
