I am having a transparency issue. For some reason the light texture that I have semi transparent is affecting whats behind it. I am using 3dsmax 9. Any ideas to why this is happening?
Also when I view my scene from a distants in the camera view it distorts my textures, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you talking about an actual camera that is causing this problem or when you are using the perspective view port to view something in the distance? The reason i as is because if you are using the view port that would most likely be the mip-mapping of your textures you are seeing.
