Looking pretty good. Good expression in the mouth.
WOA those are some eyebrows, wow... Really could get into problems with with dancing furry billboards stuck to his brows. Even slight movement could read as a drastic shift. It's also covering up a lot of the forehead wrinkles that tell so much.
Are you planning on making 3D blendshapes/morph targets or bone poses out of these?
Neutral looks a little angry. If Neutral is angry its going to be hard to get into the other expressions without some bit of angry creeping in.
Breaking up the symetry could help bring a little more life to the poses.
the eyebrows where kinda added for humor but i will draw him up again and tone them down. i pictured this guy as always being a little angry so that might be why the neutral ended up looking like that, i will try tweaking it. it actually felt wierd to draw him smiling. my buddy sean is gonna model him for me. im trying to use this character to shake off the rust moslty. im struggling with the full body sheets now because my proportion and anatomy understanding is on the fritz.
I really like the sad face. It's a quality exaggeration that clearly expresses the emotion.
On the happy face, however, I think his bottom jaw is too far forward, causing that underbite. It's just that small little thing but i think if you tweak it it might look a little less forced, as far as an expression goes.
Make sure to widen his nose for the smile also - the nostrils will naturally expand when the mouth is stretched.
Get out some anatomy books and get studying the underlying muscle structures, it'll really help with getting a convincing expression. Like as people have mentioned with the eyebrows, he looks like he's frowning for his neutral pose, but his eyebrows are raised when he's angry.
I love the side pose, there's a lot of character there. I think in the front shot the feet might be too far apart, they seem a little wider than shoulder width apart, which is kind of a good default pose.
