This looks great, might also be cool to have some bits of slag on top of the lava as well. Especially around the edges where it meets the cooler metal walls.
Hey man, thank YOU guys for creating some fantastic concept art, it was a blast working on this. I've been following NS2 for awhile now as well, I wish you guys all the best, the team has created some great artwork all around. I just recently checked the news section, and I love how you have a breakdown on some of your assests, they look great, and read very very well... something that I need to get handle on myself.
Thanks Zack, I really appreciated the help you and others gave me, looking forward to the progression of your Aztec scene as well man Hopefully I can learn more from you.
nice work man, this turned out super dope. you hit all the major aspects of the concept and the lighting looks great. love the lil touches of blue ambient along the roof. I can totally tell you studied the arkham lighting style and applied it to your own work really succesfully. itd be cool to see a lil vid of it in motion, with ambiet movement and the particles going.
The end result came out really nice, you've done a great job on the lighting and all that hard work looks to have certainly paid off in the end.
I really like the textures you've done on the wall, how the paint has worn off around the edges of the metal panels. Sometimes it's those small details that make the biggest impact when striving for realism.
Wow... honestly everyone thank you so much But like I said before, it's you all that helped this scene get to where it is now... But seriously, thanks everyone for the feedback That's why polycount is an indispensable tool in an artists growth

The video will be on the new website, just something quick, but shows everything moving / ambient sounds etc. And yes... I have been going ape-shit over Batman's lighting, Rocksteady did a great job with lighting their environments, and I would love to incorporate that lighting style again in later scenes. Look no further then Alex's website (www.chillalex.com) for some of that great lighting as well.
Looks great man! Love the heightened contrast, really helps show off the texture and modeling work.
Thank you Brandon for the paint over. I admittedly have a hard time getting the spec to read just right, and I know I can push a lot of the scene more, but you seriously helped me push the lighting with this, and I really appreciate it. It was hard trying to find that balance where the lighting was saturated, but not saturated enough where it starts to blow out details and overall composition.
And thank you very much Adam for the banner, that means a lot man
Alritghy, enough sucking green dick, I'm getting anxious to start on the next scene.

Thanks buddy
Good job on this. I just showed it to the guys in the office and we think it's pretty great!
It's funny because we haven't created this particular concept yet and it's nice to see what it looks like.
Again, good job!
Thanks again, it means a lot.
For those who haven't seen the post I was talking about, you can check it here - http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/
