Hi, below are shots of a M1919 machine gun i am working on.



Learnt a lot from this forum and those brushes from racer AK tutorial helped alot . This is the first run of of the texturing stage, any comments welcome.

Looking pretty good from what I can see. Maybe post a couple screens of the wireframe and/or areas your not sure about.

Your grey machine gun is merging with the grey back ground, making it hard to see. Looks good from what I can tell. Is their supposed to be no trigger?

Looks great, would like to see some more contrast and maybe some dirt/grime to give it some character

Model seems solid, texture needs work however, most blackish metal aren't really black, needs some metallic lustre and color on it. The black is not making it "pop" in the viewers eyes. Check out Johnny's armory on his website for some ideas.

You could also add some noise in the base color, helps make it more metal plated looking.

seems very good so far. obviously doesnt look like metal because it has no spec. get some spec and normals and toss it into marmoset viewer, i twould look sweet.
