Does look very cool!

I really like the outdoor environment lighting and texturing.

The car interiors really could have done with more work though considering they're playing cutscenes in there... the drop in quality was noticeable (maybe to me, but I guess not to the public, or they'd have done something about it!).

I watched it awhile back, it looks great except player/npc animations which are not blending with each other too well, looks like there's no IK even (the guy slides down the stairs :S). I guess after gtaiv you cant exactly get back to playboy.

I loved the first Mafia game, for me it stood over the GTA series, mostly because of the style and the storyline. Old 30s car, Tommy guns and black suits, now thats the real deal. What I also liked in the trailer was the frosty feeling in the city. They did actually take time to make a real winter part of the story even tough it may be a small fraction of the story where it takes place. But thats exactly waht I like, you feel like you traverse more of the story and time just like in a "Godfather" movie, you get to see the evolution of characters and story over a longer period of time. Can`t wait for the game to come out!

Looks really awesome. I never played the first one though.

It seems to have the character that they tried so hard to achieve in Kane and Lynch, but actually looks really fun.

lighting looks amazing. character animations dont look too solid though. shit needs some mocap
