Just finished Signing my contract to work at Electronic Arts Burnaby as a QA tester through VMC. Its a contract position but i hope to make the most of it.
Although its not an art position it'll help me dip my toes in the industry and learn how production works in a huge company like EA
If anyone works at EA Burnaby and wants to grab some drinks sometime i would love to meet up!
sooo excited!:)

/next up, grammar.
and godspeed!
Have fun man, keep pumping out the art, do a good job, and don't take the job too seriously, all i can really say.
Most of our QA team here eventually get into a dev position. Its quite rare that a member of QA will remain in QA for an extended period of time, unless they are looking at being a QA manager or something.
Hopefully it'll be the same for you. Like jocose mentioned, don't be too pushy with trying to score an art role, but make sure they are aware that you eventually want to step into it when something does open up.
It's creepy, but i actually smiled when i read the post title... knew you'd get in soon man!!!!
