Looks pretty accurate apart from the right hand side, in the reference there is a doorway on the right with two pillars parallel to each other and almost facing right down the middle of the alley, in your model they appear more slanted inwards.
Great progress so far bro, I like all the detail uptop with the mess of conduit and wires and pipes and stuff. The objects that you started to put down below, bike, boxes etc. are really looking nice and like they belong in the scene but I still feel it's a little lacking in mess. Personally, I would take those objects that you have already and make a few more, different, piles, and maybe also add a little more trash here and there. I can't wait to see this textured. break a leg homie!
I would suggest playing with the camera focal thingy, 3D alley type environments always end up looking stubby in depth compared to the ref. Either messing with the camera settings will fix that, or maybe stretching the whole scene depth wise. I don't have enough experience with that to know which one for sure.
@ Dark Alley: thanks, ill try and get some more trash in there to litter up the floor a bit. And i just started on texturing about an hour ago, but decided that the scene needed a little more modeling and tweaks to that extent. Hopefully, itll be textured by this weekend.
@ Art-Machine: I agree with you on that totally. I've created an alley scene before and as you said, it did come out a bit stumpy and rather than play with the camera settings I just tried playing witht the depth and placement of the actual models. Do you know what settings I should look at? Im not too familiar with the camera.
with 3ds max it's generally field of view which gives u that... or messing around with the lenses... like 15-28mm lenses can really give the deep perspective.
So, I played around with the focal distance of the camera and that seemed to help a lot with the depth of the scene. I also added a few more props to the scene along with getting started with some of the textures...

You might also try different brick shapes to add interest?
