Hey, I'm LoM Chaos, a sixsteen year old autodidact 3D artist. Like every Sketchbook in the good old black and green, I will be updating and uploading all of my WIP's and finished stuff too.
I'll start of with these guys. (Note - I have 3dsmax, Xnormal, Zbrush and photoshop. I just never really show Max stuff because they are usually not that interesting.
)
Some stuff I did for a sprite game.
I've alot of work to do on Terimus but this is it so far. I usually do stuff like that daily. It's always a good practice, right?

Thanks again

Keep in mind I don't work for the industry and I'm a self taught hobbyist just now.
Shameless plugs aside, there is a lot of improvement here over what you had a few months ago.
Thanks again.
Retopologizing can be slow going, especially at first, but the more time you spend doing it the faster you will get. I've heard good things about this app, maybe you should give it a try: TopoGun
For the Terimus piece, try to get sharper edges on the shapes. Right now everything looks a bit soft and puffy.
Keep it up, man!
About the parent's thing - I've already began looking into to colleges for 3D design and such.
My parent's where suprised when I told them my plan which was to go to college and build up my portfolio over time : D They think I just sat and played games. Hah. I've been looking into game development ever since I was like 13. It's always good to start early.
But seriously, this is crap. : P Spent less than 30 minutes on it. I told you, boredom + sphere = random crap.
Sorry, its 6 in the morning...again.
I created this from a plane in zbrush with some help from pixologics video about architectual design. The note to self is a mixture of tiredness and why I shouldnt have even done the normal map.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to fix the hollowness when creating something like that? I basically got a plane - made circles and doodles then masked out hence the back of the normal map.
I made this dude. I had the most trouble on the blade.
-Delved into every method of modelling and pretty decent at it - check.
Haha, peace.
Due to unfortunate.... er, miss happenings and arguements with an uptight over protecting project leader I am now left with no project after a month of helping. Their loss. I was the only modeller =]
So I am officially open for freelance/mod/ standalone project work.
Would you happen to be interested, then, in a horror/survival mod for Half-life 2? We're sorta small (read: tiny) but not politically correct, uptight, or generally good mannered.
Thats not where nipples go! :poly122:
This dude =] I'm getting better I'd say. Nice damien ST brush hard edge effect.
Quick asset practice.
For an asset like that last one I would probably try to get more contrasting materials, though - right now it look like it's been carved from one solid lump of metal, rather than made of separate pieces put together.
Texture practice. Edit - Lost some of its shiney ness and sexyness..
Latest doo-dad.
