Hey everybody. Did this one for a writer friend of mine who is amazing at creating interesting supervillians.

So, I started this piece about a week ago and I've put in a meandering 20 or so hours on it, consisting seemingly of technical errors and me being far too anal retentive about early blocking details that will get buffed out later on. This is only a first pass at the texture but I figure it's never too early for crits.

    Ok, a couple more hours of work. I want to keep this simple and clean but every time I add a bit more detail I like the results. One thing I do want to do is subdivide the respiratory cylinders and the goggles in a way that gives equal effect as softening the normals would in most 3d packages. So far no luck. Anybody know of a way?
