EDIT: kp's thread sucks. This one is waaaaay better. Also, I'm too
lazy to merge the two together now that I've made this one.

Jay Evans and I went to see this last night. I think Sam Rockwell is
my new favourite actor. Holy fuck, what a performance.
Remember reading this when you go to see it: To me, this is one of
the movies where the second half is better than the first, and the
first was great to begin with.
Spoiler time!I am sooooo happy that Gurney ended up being a GOOD
robot character and an evil plot device. Kevin Spacey's voice was
perfect.
There were 2 scenes, I think it was 2, where Sam start's to cry
because he wants to go home. I found those moments to be the
strongest of the entire movie. Pulled on the heart strings, that's
for sure.
Were there 3 clones total that we saw primarily (not including the
glitches in video) or 4? I think there were 3 (Hairy Sam that
eventually gets his hair cut and shaven, New Sam thats ready to
rock-out for 3 years and New-new same who just woke up.
All of the scenes with the vehicle moving out to the outposts and
to the harvesters were beautiful. And I looooooved one of the final
shots where the camera pans around the vehicle to show Sam
looking straight at earth. Really powerful stuff.
"According to director Duncan Jones, the film was shown to some
NASA scientists who questioned why harvesting of H3 would not
take place on the near side of the moon, where H3 is in more
abundance. The explanation given was that the choice was made to
harvest the far side so as not to affect wildlife."
Go see it if you haven't! This should be seen in theatres.

If they'd fucking start playing the FUCKING MOVIE instead of this piss anty single theater limited release bullshit I might possibly go see it. Been looking forward to it, but looks like extended release is still a fucking ways off.
Anyone know when it will be showing at more than one place a city?
i'm naive in this department too... do they do this from a profitability vs cost of production vs cost of film development standpoint? if it is as good as everyone is saying it is, i would hope they would start releasing it in other theaters. i so totally want to see it.
It never opens quite close enough to me...
Really want to see it though.
At the very least it will get shown at Nova , which is where i saw
