I beat the rubiks cube when I was 5.. I peeled off all the coloured stickers and stuck them where I wanted... this is far less interesting.. no way to shortcut the puzzle to solve it...

Rubik in name only..

I was a regional champion back in the day. I have a cube at home, it helps me 'zone out' if I've had a stressful day and it's still fun to show people - especially if they struggle with it..

man thinking like a game artist already, i did the same but it took me a few years to get round to it then my brother told me off, it was his and he could tell how i did it as a few of the stickers weren't so staight

i can do the 3x3 in about or just under a min, this guys crazy, 7 sec is just insane... i can also do the 4x4 but it takes way longer...

I remember having one of these, like many others i cheated, but mine didn't have stickers, so i ended up yanking an entire row off, then it all fell apart...

Is this just for one side?

If you look at the front of his fingers, the side is clearly red. Right before he sets it down, he rotates the top row towards the front and it's green. So there's 2 rows red 1 row green in front...

I assumed this was 7 seconds for the entire cube.

think its the whole cube.. it happens so fast though its too hard to call from the crappy vid. he could have flicked the row as he set it down

Did he shuffle it himself though? The video sort of looks like he didn't, but I've seen people solve them insanely fast just because they memorized how they scrambled it and just did it again in reverse.
