Hey there, I am a newbie to these forums and this will be my first attempt at a modelling contest / challenge. With some free time on my hands at the moment i decided to give it a bash.

Here i have an initial concept which was roughly drawn out on paper.



After sketching i plotted it out in photoshop with some rough colouring.



Would appreciate feedback regarding the design.

Hi Steve, nice design, but it seems like the jet engine isn't really based on any reality as it tapers off to a small straw at the front. If I were you, i would give the jet some bulk right up to the nose area with a sweet intake turbine or grill. As it is now, it looks like its floating in mid air with a tiny support strut which looks quite flimsy. I dig the teethy dirt bike look though!

Maybe give some thought to the engineering of how this thing steers in mid air as well. Like angled steering thrusters on the rear or some sort of aerodynamic flaps on that nose area. Its hard to imagine how it turns. Keep up the great work, I like the colours and concept so far!
