great progress dude there was just one thing i was noticing that would prolly make a huge difference. Her hair, since its not modelled, just textured on, you may want to keep away from the parting on the back of her head, do you know what i mean? the back of her head where her hair parts looks really unrealistic to me because ppl's hair generally parts on the top of the head, not the back. Just a thought
I'd go back to the previous eyebrows. The newer eyebrow shapes are a bit odd looking to me and don't frame the eye as well. Also, With the mouth adding in a single poly to act as teeth between the upper and lower lip can give a pretty sexy look to the mouth. Right now she almost looks like she's coming close to a frown. I'd suggest bringing in the lips corners just a smidge.
Really coming along!
I might also put an interesting clip in the back of her hair. I'm not really sure how it's just wrapped around makes any real sense, especially how it'd stay like that if she was running and fencing.

beautiful character! Reads very well from far away. I think the latest texture might have too much shading gradient on the upper legs. Like the shadowing extends too low from the thigh. I think the latest eyebrows might be a little bit too furrowed giving her a worried/determined look. But the expression is up to you. It's just different from the previous. Again a gorgious character.
I'm not sure if you can spare the polies or the texture space, but I think the character would really benefit from having the skirt double sided. That way you could make the inside of the skirt darker and much simpler in design, to reduce the noisiness in that area, and help the designs on the legs stand out more.
looks awesome.. IMO the only real problem are the folds... those ones on the side, i think you should get rid of the shadow that's on top of all of theM? it doesn't quite make sense, and is making them look a bit like veins or something. IMO you should gradiate that highlight up so it blends smoothly with the rest of the fabric, and keep that shadow underneath the fold.
lovely stuff!
agree with mvelasquez that you shouldn't gradient that much on the upper leg flesh, it just looks kinda messy compared with the nice colours of everything else - rather keep it lighter and maybe with a slightly saturated blue shadow with a harder edge, don't use so much of a smooth gradient.

The additional bits of trim really tie everything together nicely.
torontoanimator - thanks man. not sure i follow you on the hair bit. its not parted in the back, theres a long bun that is wrapped up close to the skull. http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=aEo&ei=YJFmSt_EJsWCtgeT3ajyDw&resnum=0&q=french%20twist&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

It does make sense actually, the French twist is put in place invisibly with bobby pins. Like so:

sky-earth technique is great for matte paintings.
