So im getting a late start but I couldn't resist this challenge any longer. Got my concept and rough model done with some highpoly stuff on the way. The concept is basically a chopped up version of this aprilia bike that I mixed with other images and some paintovers.

looks like a nice start, the giant rocket tube is awesome.
the front looks like it could be a little more aerodynamic, for some reason right now it's reminding me of the front of a sneaker (trainer) shoe...

Thanks guys, doesn't look like im going to finish though : /. I hope to at least have the highpoly done.

Here is a bit of an update. For the most part this is the finished engine, minus a few cables and wires. Should have an updated version of the full bike tomorrow.

Sweet engine! It has a very authentic and functional vibe to it, and also a great composition that leads the eye around. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished high poly for sure.
