Okay time for a new series. I'm working on my final modeling project for class, and I've decided to make a "natural" Ivy (from Batman). Maybe next time I'll model her traditional costume. ^_^
So here was my first assignment for modeling a human. I'm pretty happy with it...she just needs hair and such.
Here's my first assignment. Above is her head, and below is her body with clothes.
I wasn't allowed to use Mudbox/Zbrush for the clothing, so I got to do it by hand. Yay... :P
This is my current IVY WIP
Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions!
faces are hard! the eyes are a bit too high up. and the face seems too round. that's all I got since I fail at making female faces/ pointing out flaws.
the WIP you got going doesn't look bad at all but the knees. #1 I don't think it will deform correctly if animated. don't hold me too that though. #2 there is something funky going on with the knees to legs. pretty sure the muscle structure is off there.
but the back view you can clearly see it the inside of the legs right below the knee caps they jud in for some reason. fix that. hope this helps.
Thanks for the advice. Faces are hard, but I'm addicted to them and the human form. It's a pursuit of perfection because it's impossible to get perfect. Lol.

Any advice would be great!!!

maybe some zbrush pushes should make it even cooler.
I worked on the diffuse map, and I like painting in 3D more than sculpting at the moment. Maybe I'll like it if I don't model a reptile.
Comments and suggestions are always welcome ^_^

Hopefully I'll have a head for IVY by Thursday.
