I felt sorry for him in these last few years. Health problems combined with a wife that ran him into bankruptcy. I know it was partially his fault, but still hated to see so much pile up on a man at once. Anyway, so long Ed... RIP

Yeah, he hosted Star Search. He also was on the Tonight Show, he did a lot with Publishers Clearing House, and more recently, he did a Superbowl commercial for CashForGold.com.
Oh, and he co-hosted TVs Bloopers and Practical Jokes back in the day
