THQ to open a second studio in Austin..maybe

This is interesting, seeing THQ is laying off 600 employees. They haven't actually confirmed what the office is, it might just be a support center like Blizzard has or it could be a full blown house. Some think they might just be relocating Vigil. Interesting news

    "THQ has signed a lease for 33,000 square feet in the Four Points Centre to house its Vigil Games development studio. Currently, Vigil Games is working on two projects for THQ. The first, Darksiders™, is an action game designed for the Xbox 360 and Sony PLAYSTATION3, and is scheduled for release in January 2010. Vigil Games is also developing a Massively Multiplayer Online game based on the Warhammer® 40,000™ universe, that is expected to be released in a few years. We have not yet unveiled the details around the MMO."
    "We are very excited about the strong development talent at Vigil Games and we view Austin as a great location to attract employees engaged in video game development."

    yeah read this today. Sounds pretty cool for the Vigil guys. Maybe Bobo could get a 3d print of his Penis Tank for his new desk...

    ah yeah, missed that first line, it is for Vigil. The building they are in now is pretty nice, had stopped by there once. Though I have no idea the size, but regardless it sounds like they are planning on expanding!

    hahah, I read this as his '3rd' print of his penis tank and was thinking 'wow, the guy actually had the balls (haha GET IT?) to get two prints of his penis tank already?? and he needs a THIRD?

    If they are going to make most or all of the art for their MMO in-house, having a big-ass studio space seems like a good thing. :)
