help w/ human body referenece

Im looking for a human body reference picture thats pretty basic

i have not found anything that thru google, google images, the wiki or a simple search of the forums

Ideally im looking for something like this but with the body instead of the just the head

Love that Bridgman book. One of my favourites. There are some other decent books, but they have different caveats... Dynamic Anatomy by Hogarth is great for memorizing muscle masses, but his forms as incredibly exaggerated (makes it easy to study); Artist's Guide to Human Anatomy by Bammes is good, has some nice drawings in it by his students, but the content is very course-based, lesson-based, exercise-based. So it's good if you want to put some effort into learning to draw the human form.

But seriously, Bridgman's linked by Muzz is excellent. The old man's drawings are sketchy and a bit difficult to follow sometimes, but the blurbs help, and it's generally clear what he's trying to get at. Use it to supplement photos or reference from life.

It searches a large number of online book stores, new and used, and finds the cheapest buy.

First off thanks for all your help

i did find some of these sites (the rest will be bookmarked) but everything has too much detail for what im looking for. i want super bare minimum just enuff that i can get a good human shape and then model up from there.

I looked for a quite a while and never did find anything matching your example. You may have to settle or come up with your own.

The images you posted are from "Human Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. It's a good book, but less artistic than others mentioned in this thread. It is great for reference on each muscle. I learn something new every time I crack it open. There is one set of pictures of the body broken up into planes, but it's really simple and not very useful.
