Looks great! I'm still unwrapping and running normal map tests, hope i can get it finished! The glows and metal textures look really nice. There's going to be some excellent finished pieces in this comp
sorry I didnt have time to create a pic with the smoothing problems illustrated but it looks like youve moved on to some good texturing anyway so its coming out well. For an example of the wierd smoothing just look at the section around the front thruster its kinda blobby and doesnt really show how it connects to the rest of the bike thats what I meant about strange smoothing. be nice to see this done tho
ZennDavid: Thanks man, I wanted to create it looking sleek and 'aerodynamic' glad that other people see it that way, too
kysterama: Hey hope you finish I love the entries so far as well
Ged: Np man, regarding the texture, I first wanted the red parts to be glossy but the vibrant red I have now looks way more awesome I guess, have to add some details and tune some parts out, then I'll move ahead to the spec map.
HAL- sorry this is a bit late but ive always thought the design of this has too many of the same shapes, and has lead you to a blobby form, it seams like it needs areas of concentrated detail and more sharpe lines to contrast with the shapes you have already.

Anybody got any thought on the diffuse left?
First work done on the specmap
So unless anybody got anything to add/critique which is killing it I am calling it done here.
(and thanks for the suggestion SHEPEIRO, I guess I fixed the transition at least on the black frame)
thanks for the support everyone
Ok specs:
4581 Triangles (see techshot)
3 textures diffuse/spec/normal@1024
Made in: Blender, xnorlmal, photoshop
Rendered in 8monkeylab's marmoset engine
Did I forget anything?
