We're using a cgfx shader at work and in the uv editor it comes up as bright green instead of displaying the diffuse texture applied, any ideas?

bright green is the way a CGFX shader will display in non-hardware accelerated rendering modes, or if there is a missing map.
Just apply a regular material with the map you're wanting to match as its diffuse and edit the uvs, then re-apply your CGFX shader.

press right mouse button and hold on the uv editor viewport, go to textures and choose the texture that you want it to show, it works on mine.
