methinks its something along the lines of a new xbox arcade or elite - my bet is they are rebranding the arcade model to something like Xbox Home or Xbox Family.
That's a day old, and it's already been clarified as a 360 with built in Natal.
I dunno, I would think bundled with natal. Not everyone wants their console setup in a specific spot. having the sensor separate allows people to setup the console where they want.
Any company denying rumors about a new console in development are ALWAYS lying. This is because most console manufacturers ALWAYS have their next system in development. They begin designing the next iteration of the hardware as soon as the specs for the existing hardware are finished. They don't even wait for it to release.
Even if the next major iteration of the hardware is not foremost in their minds, I guarantee that some manner of XBox Slim is being cooked up. Redesigning existing hardware for greater efficiency, stability, and a lower production cost is perfectly ordinary. The only reason Microsoft didn't do this with the original XBox was because they understood that the XBox hardware was an anchor around their necks, and needed to be disposed of. The 360 has proven itself a much more viable platform, both in terms of the cost efficiency of the hardware and its success in overall sales. They will ride the current 360 hardware as long as they can. Releasing a slim model will just help them to extend the market viability of the platform.
