painting on desktop

is there a tool where you can paint on the screen, just to mark some things?

when modeling i often ahve to remember where to put what, so putting a marker on an overlay on the desptop would be cool

That's kind of a cool idea. I did work with a guy who always had those overhead projector plastic sheets on his monitors so he could draw with dry erase. It leaves em looking mucky though unless you clean those sheets really often.

Hey, last year one of my teachers used ezMARK when teaching animation. I tried googling for you but it's nowhere to be found. Luckily it's still on the server, only problem is that i don't have any hosting possibilities atm. I could email it to someone who could put it online, drop me a pm

Some links on google mention it was freeware, the link is just dead so i guess this should be safe :thumbup:

Dropbox! It has 2gb of storage free and it amazingly easy to use. Also MSLive has skydrive which is shareable.

You can also use any paint app (Paint!) combined with Ghost-it, making any window transparent or partially transparent...
