Just like the cartoon Optimus is going to beat the pants off Galvatron...
This compitition was super fun, I am glad to have been able to be a part of it.
not sure how much the opinion of a lurker counts for but, maybe people should ease up a touch.
How about calling out one or two of others that are raring to go for the next low poly comp (or maybe the fellows posting in the <500 poly thread) and organize a couple of people for a low-poly mini-challenge of your own devising in p&p. I would be keen to watch that and you would stay sharp for the next official low poly comp.
I'm sure if you generate a bit of interest with some quality work there the next official challenge will get a few more entrants and mods might be a bit more enthusiastic about scheduling them + i get to see more good ol' low poly creations.
That ain't the issue, bgghh. DOZENS of people participated at one time or another. The closure of one thread and start of another is a few minutes of work. It's inexcusable.
The LPC needed to keep gaining momentum, instead it died from moderator neglect.

It was a really hard decision.
@ae
We already did that.
I would love to redesign saturday morning cartoon characters from the 80´s/90´s.

I really liked your presentation with the animation and the transform sound!
Nice work man.
Anyways hope to participate with ya all again in the next LPC.
And congrats red!
