i was stoked for the first game, and it impressed me for the first hour...
i was looking forward to Altairs "decendant" being able to run through a modern city ganking people with leet assed Assassin skillz.. but it's not to be!!!
that said, it looks just as atmospheric as the first, from what you can see in the 10 seconds you get, i like his new outfit changes =]
i enjoyed the 1st 5 hours or so of the original, and still pop it in every now and then to enjoy the free running stuff. im really looking forward to seeing the renaissance era city and how the da vinci style contraptions come into play.
Will be buying this for sure:
-Assasins Creed was a very good game!
-Ive been to venice 2 times! I hope they used the real map, it lends itself pretty good for a game, 'unlocking' new areas would basically be unlocking the islands. Im kind of wondering if there are any high places to climb, because venice doesnt really have a lot of tall towers.
-I really liked the story of the first game.
@almighty_gir: I read somewhere that AC is going to be a trilogy, I hope they save the best for last and the last game focusses around the 'real' player from AC1(the guy thats locked up in the facility).

Kinda funny that he climbs the building only to jump down right after.
