Big Blue Bubble is looking for a Senior Artist responsible for the quality and content of the graphic production.Responsibilities:
- Work with the technical lead to establish or optimize production pipelines and art schedule for the project
- Define the games graphic style and mood in collaboration with the creative director
- Share and encourage knowledge distribution for art techniques and tools
- Detect problems and find the best artistic/technical/organizational compromise in collaboration with the team leads.
- Provide feedback and support the graphic team to meet quality targets within the scheduled timeframe
- Manage concept artists and illustrators to deliver on the projects needs.
- Know the platforms limits and engine limits in order to maximize quality and manage risks.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the video game industry.
- In depth knowledge of the graphical aspects involved in game development (modeling, environment art, special effects, lighting, texturing, etc).
- Strong proven artistic skill.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D computer graphics software.
