Awesome news. Sounds like it will work out well for everyone involved. I'm not sure how the distance thing will work out, that always creates a bit of a headache.
Wow! Unexpected, but it's good to see BHG get some support. I would have never expected 38 studios to have the financial backing for a move like that, but more power to them if it works out.
Also glad to hear this; I'd considered applying to them for years, but they'd been so silent, and then news came of their breaking down... I hope this works out well for all the employees that remain, maybe we'll get to see that mystery fantasy game after all?
Would be really cool if they considered taking back some of the guys they had to lay off, if they haven't already found other work.
Unsure how i feel about this as i don't want either studio to go down. Good news for BHG but only if both titles rock when they come out and sell like hot cakes...
We were all waiting to see when they would announce it officially, so it's good that the deal is complete and they're ready to go.
BHG games has a lot of great dev talent, so they'll be a good addition to the 38 team. The cool thing is that my old buddy Billy Ahlswede may come back to Baltimore for a little while to touch base with the BHG team; that should be great.
