wanted to do some old school stuff, i was wondering if anyone knew of a md3 import export plugin for maya. having a hardtime finding anything on the web. there is supposed to be one here, http://www.clanfu.org/muskoka

if you could write one that would be awesome.. i have an old copy of max laying around from the contract days, i was thinking of installing that.. but would much rather have access to mel for rigs and stuff.

unfortunately just tried and it doesn't work with 2008.
is the source out there someplace? its not too hard to recompile for different versions of maya.

edit: if that fails, what might work is export to blender and then export to md3 from there? id wager cheapy knows a thing or two about md3 export from blender

like the filename says, this was compiled for 8.5 but sometimes that stuff works in other versions. give it a crack
