Ahhh so I finally got my car shipped from San Diego where she has been awaiting me to have her delivered to my home here in Wisconsin. She is in rough shape after not being driven for quite some time.
So this weekend I got some of the tools and parts that I needed and started to work on this war pig of mine.
Work done so far.
Oil and Oil Filter Change
Coolant Flush and Fill
New Serpentine belt since old one was toast
New battery
Cleaned up engine bay
New spark plugs
2 gallons of gas since she was bone dry
So get her all back together tonight and she doesn't want to quite kick over and start. She feels like she wants to but just will not do it.
So since I can't hear the fuel pump any longer when I turn the key on I am guessing that it needs to be replaced and thankfully in the eclipse thats an easy task since it's under the back seat.
So tomorrow it will be a new fuel pump and see if that helps at all.
Oh the beauty of fixing up an older car.

Was also told to check the fuel relay and filter before replacing the pump itself. So I'm gonna test the pump today by doing the test it says to do in my Chilton manual.
Oh yeah the car is a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse
B-, would not read again.
Going to clean up the rest of the engine bay this weekend and see if I can get this war pig running.
Perhaps but then I wouldn't have the sweet comments from you fine gentlemen
We'll have a "Blue Bomber" thread to go along with my "Green with Envy" thread. :poly142:
