Persistent world next-gen shooter(pwns)... sounds not interesting
Fixed.
Is this some indy developer? Because their trailers look like artist demo reels, and their use of next-gen and pwns makes my eyes bleed. So far it looks like a walk around and buy cloths sim, I wish there was other info on their site to show me wrong.
Hey Vig, on the trailers section there's an arrow on the right to scroll more videos, the last one shows gameplay.
I was ready to be but it looks pretty nice. It looks like more of a GTA online than APB is (all we really know about APB is that they have a very nice character editor).
I just hope they do microtransactions right and only have it for cosmetic things like clothes
That last video looked a little more promising, they should move it up. Hopefully they put more care into the game and its mechanics then they have into the marketing.
If you dig for more than 3 seconds you can find a LOT of gameplay videos that you can fullscreen and show all aspects of the game from buying weapons, to how gang relations work, all the way to the actual shoot outs in the streets.
You guys are quick to dismiss.
This link shows an capture and hold fight a little ways in:
They need some videos kind of like that on their main site. People shouldn't have to go digging. I shouldn't hog up a beta slot just to find out if I'm actually interested or to find out how the game plays. That's stuff that should be readily available on their site, not buried on another. but anywho...
It looks interesting, the more I see the more I like, but their site made a pretty bad first impression. Hopefully that doesn't happen with too many people?
the site is trash, and the dev is a smaller one in russia, the game uses unreal 3, and a lot of the vids an the site are alpha, and pre alpha footage, ill have to take some screens from in game

I'm assuming this is a closed beta and sharing screenshots would be a no-no.
yeah its a closed beta, ill have to look on the screen shot policy, i wouldn't see them being too upset with shots of the game being shred with a game art community

Welcome to the internet. Info needs to be front and center because all you have is about 3 seconds to make an impression.
