Generally, I've never noticed trends between different tv series. However in the most recent episodes of House,Bones,Greys anatomy(lol),The unusuals, and Fringe one of the main character is having constant hallucinations that are a major part of the story and 3 of the 5 being because of a brain tumor. Now maybe this happens all the time, but this is the first I've ever really noticed with shows having such similar events.

Do writers work on multiple shows at once or do they get together and say "hey lets all write brain tumors into our shows script" I guess it just seems odd that since most of these shows are prime time shows and they are all having the same story arc involving around a brain tumor.

Well I've noticed that CSI(various), Cold Case, Law & Order(various), Without a Trace, and Criminal Minds tend to have very similar plots from time to time. Either writers are lazy, or they like to steal/share ideas, or there really just isn't that much possible variation to a crime show. Well lots of games tend to copy each other at least somewhat so I guess we can't be too critical lol.

Yeah...I think House has really lost its brilliance. To see that Amber bitch back was as annoying as having Starbuck from BSG, possibly the worst actress to ever appear on TV, turn out to not be dead.
