Hey all!
Obviously I'm new here, and I stumbled on the site trying to find a reference image for a project im working on, and it seems to be right up my ally! Anyways, my question would be, does anyone have any tutorials on texturing/UVW mapping subjects for 3Ds Max 2009? I've done some digging around on the site, and found a good amount of tutorials about everything later on in the process, but I dont see much on UVW/Texturing. If im blind and missed it, please feel free to tell me so, and drop me a link, if not I'm open to any suggestions!
Thanks in advance!

thats for the basics, if you want to go more into depth, perhaps take some shortcuts and find out about other ways doing the same or improve your workflow check out my thread regarding a script collection for unwrapping stuff

Scroll about 3/4 down and click the 'Materials and Mapping'. Download the PDF (or read it in the browser, whatever) and download the Supplementary Files .
These are tutorials published by Autodesk, and I believe they are also the same tutorials as Vig mentioned above.
The tutorial they demonstrate here is a basic, beginner level example.
Good luck!
