Starcraft 2 beta sign ups

Blizzard has officially opened up the StarCraft II beta opt-in, according to a new post on the World of Warcraft site.

"The StarCraft II beta-test period is coming in the months ahead! If you'd like a chance to participate, now's the time to let us know," reads the post.

Interested parties must simply visit their Battle.net profile page, choose to opt-in for the beta, and re-submit their current system specs by way of a small downloadable piece of software.

As a former Vevendi, then Activision employee... all I ever got from blizzard was a year of free wow. That I never used.

I am not going to sign up. I want to play this game so bad it hurts, but for some reason i feel like playing a beta would be a spoiler.

I may have to tie myself up at night to prevent a sleepwalking sign-up.

Agreed. Testing tends to ruin games for me also. At least they are interested in releasing a pretty solid game, most other companies would call this gold, ship it and maybe release a patch.

The RoC and TFT betas were both pretty good. The 'bat riders do normal damage' phase at the beginning of the TFT beta was painful, but other than that they tend to even make their betas a fun play experience

. As it's likely MP only it shouldn't ruind the SP for you anyway.

Hoping I get in too.
